Responsibilities: Responsible for booking guests, researching show topics and screening telephone calls for current events-based talk shows. Also responsible for shaping the sound of the program through selection and use of actualities, music and other sound elements. Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications: • Education: H.S. diploma • Non-technical Skills: Good telephone manner, ability to quickly process information, awareness of current events and interest in the news. Desired Qualifications: • Education: Undergraduate college degree • Work Experience: 3-5 years experience in radio • Technical Skills: Website skills, ability to operate a radio studio board.
