Broadcasting in Red, White, and Blue: Veterans Day 2009 - Salute to the Troops

They are our forgotten heroes – their lives filled with stories of courage, sacrifice and commitment. They are our veterans. They fought, some died, others live with the scars of war... so we might be FREE. As we approach Veterans Day we salute their service and honor their memory. There are no greater patriots than those who have served our country in battles past and present, enduring unimaginable circumstance and painful separation from those who love them most. Forgotten? It doesn’t have to be that way. Remember our Veterans, not just now... but always. They are our heroes. Throughout wars past and present, they are the ultimate freedom fighters. They are our Veterans.
